The 2009 NBTA International
Convention and Exposition is in full swing and Travel and Transport is enjoying
every minute as we showcase our latest technology and services!
We started our Sunday evening off by
attending a presentation by Captain Chesley B. Sullenberger, III. A man of true
spirit, this keynote speech left everyone admiring such a brave man and his
heroic actions that frightful day in January.
Sunday's opening reception
held at the Hilton San Diego Bay Front offer our team the opportunity to
come in contact with many familiar faces! Our nightly hospitality suite
held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt was a intimate event where guests enjoyed
good food, good conversation and even picked up a couple games of shuffleboard.
Monday morning started early for
T&T as we held our team meeting to finalize last minute details for the
tradeshow.
Education sessions are also
captivating the attention of show attendees with many different industry forums
to chose from as well keynote speaker Dara Torres which was inspiring for all
attendees to listen to.
At 2:15 p.m. the tradeshow came
alive and instantly there were visitors to our booth that were ready to GET
HOOKED with Travel and Transport and take our Deep Sea Fishing Challenge. The
booth was abuzz for us on Monday with many new contacts made from companies
located throughout the U.S.
Technology demos of our latest Dynamic
Benchmarking technology as well as various other eTTek Solutions reporting
demos kept our team busy!
As we ramp up for a 2nd day on the
trade show floor we look forward to a busy day with the opportunity to meet
many new people and showcase the many new and exciting services and solutions
provided by Travel and Transport.
