GBTA Convention 2015 kicks off Saturday, July 25th in Orlando and here's everything you need to know before the event. Don't forget to see us at booth 807!

It’s that time again. GBTA Convention 2015 kicks off this Saturday, July 25th in Orlando! GBTA’s overarching theme for this year’s event is #Sharing and many of the topics of discussion will center around the sharing economy, the future of distribution and more. The world of business travel is rapidly changing through technology, media, new generations entering the workforce, etc. We know there will be some lively and thought-provoking discussions around these topics at this year’s convention.

Attendees will also be excited to hear from keynote speakers like Woz (Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak), Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, and everyone’s favorite film and stage star named after a popular breakfast item, Kevin Bacon.

But that’s not even scratching the surface of what awaits you at GBTA this year.

If you’re at the event, you’re going to want to visit Travel and Transport at booth 807. Through a unique hands-on experience, you can get a sneak peek of our new customer portal that integrates all of Travel and Transport’s technology and services into a single location – including our game changing mobile app, which is now available for wearables! By simply stopping by and taking a test drive of our latest technology and leaving feedback, you will be entered in our drawing for one of three Apple Watches that we are giving away at the show.

FBrian-Beard-Big-Data-Solutions-Travel-and-Transportind out about our Big Data Solution and how we’re helping companies see the whole picture. Our in-house Strategic Initiatives guru, Brian Beard, will be presenting during a GBTA Education Session on Tuesday, July 28th at 10:00 a.m. “The Upcoming Big Data Revolution” presentation will give audience members the understanding of what big data is, how it is different from traditional travel reporting and business intelligence and options for taking advantage of new developments that make big data affordable, scalable and usable for almost any size of organization.

Don’t forget to talk to us about how we are transforming corporate travel programs through gamification with our Points 2 Points program. We promise that your visit will be well worth your time! You might even walk away with a tattoo. Intrigued aren’t you?

If you’re not at the convention this year, you can follow all of the events live with blogs throughout the week at travelandtransport.com and tweets from our team @TandTNews. We’ll be using the official GBTA hashtag #GBTA2015.
