Travel and Transport Hires Director of Business Analysis and Integration

Travel and Transport is excited to announce that Scott Johnston has joined the Travel and Transport team as Director of Business Analysis and Integration.  Scott started in the industry as a leisure agent and became a supervisor – arranging tours, cruises and international reservations. Scott held an on-site position at BCD Travel where his passion for business travel grew. Scott has held roles at BCD, TBIZ and Egencia that included Central Ticketing Services Team Leader, and Strategic Solutions Manager where he designed and improved processes while working to develop new products. He later served as Manager and Director of mid-office development, scripting and training.

Scott JohnstonScott will have many responsibilities in his new role including leading the scripting team and overseeing the functional responsibility of the mid-office. Additionally, Scott will work with other technology and operational initiatives such as the GDS committee and product integration.  Scott has worked with numerous development languages and does freelance web development as a hobby. Scott is well versed in Six Sigma methodologies and holds a web development certification from the University of Texas Arlington.
