President and Chief Operating Officer

Tim joined Travel and Transport in 1982 as a travel counselor and managed a number of branch locations prior to being promoted to Vice President, Business Travel Management Services in 1995. Tim was promoted to Vice President, Operations and Client Services in 1998, to Senior Vice President, Operations and Client Services in 1999, and to Executive Vice President in 2003. Tim was named Chief Operating Officer of Travel and Transport on January 1, 2014 and President on July 1, 2017. Tim is a member of Travel and Transport’s Executive Committee.

Tim is a member of Travel and Transport’s Board of Directors, and he serves on the Board of Directors for Radius Travel. Tim also sits on the Board of Directors for Keith M. Merrick Co., Inc., Employee Travel Specials and the Advisory Board for Delta Airlines. Tim is passionate about finding a cure for type 1 diabetes and serves on the Board of Directors for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Omaha-Council Bluffs Chapter.

Tim’s education includes Morningside College in Sioux City, IA, and McConnell Travel School in Minneapolis, MN.

My most amazing travel experience: Being in the Sistine Chapel with only my wife, our guide and a security guard as the sun went down.

What it means to me to be an employee-owner: It means that we are empowered to make the decisions necessary to exceed our customers’ expectations.

Philanthropic organizations I am involved in: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
